How We Protect Your Data

Encryption

All data is transmitted using TLS encryption. Shared images are encrypted using AES-256-GCM with keys derived from your unique couple pairing, ensuring only you and your partner can view them.

Access Control

Your relationship data is only accessible to you and your connected partner. Row-level security policies ensure data isolation at the database level.

Secure Infrastructure

We use Supabase for secure data storage with automatic backups. All servers are hosted in SOC 2 compliant data centers.

How We Use Your Data

To provide personalized suggestions based on your partner's preferences
To send notifications about relationship activity (with your consent)
To generate insights about your relationship patterns
To improve the app experience through anonymous analytics

We never: Sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use your relationship data for any purpose beyond improving your experience in Tango.

Resend - Email notifications
Firebase - Push notifications (optional)
Google Gemini - AI-powered suggestions (optional)

Each service has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Your Rights

Data Export

You can request a copy of all your data at any time through your profile settings.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the profile settings, or visit our account deletion page. This will permanently remove all your data, including messages and shared content. This action cannot be undone.

Notification Preferences

You can control email and push notification preferences in your profile settings. You can opt out of all non-essential communications.
